Who we are
Daycare Canada Online is a small, independent Canadian business based in British Columbia. We started the site in 2005 to make it easier for parents to see what child care is available near home, work or school, and we've kept it running and improving ever since.
Balancing work and family isn't easy, whether you're in a two-income household or raising children on your own. As Canadian parents in 2026, we share that challenge, and that experience guides everything we do.
How listings work

Providers list themselves
Centres, family daycares and preschools create and update their own listing. A Basic listing is free; an Enhanced listing adds photos, hours and spaces.

We check new listings
Every new listing is reviewed by our team before it appears on the site. If a listing looks out of date or wrong, let us know and we'll look into it.

You contact them directly
Send an enquiry through the site or call the provider. Searching is always free, and we never charge parents.
Choosing care safely
We're a directory, not a child care operator, and we don't inspect or endorse the providers listed here. Listings are written by the providers themselves, and a listing doesn't mean a program is licensed.
- Check a provider's licence with your province or territory's child care licensing office.
- Visit in person, ask about staff training, ratios and references, and trust your instincts.

You don't need an account to search. When you send an enquiry, we pass your message to that provider only, and providers' email addresses stay private until they reply. We use cookies for site statistics and advertising; see our privacy policy.
