I am a dedicated childcare provider with over 10 years experience I strongly beleive, what you put into children is what you'll see in return. A healthy, well raised child who is taught love, respect and how to have FUN, will grow up to be this as an adult. Strong, confident and happy....They are, after all, our future.
At Dawn’s Home Daycare we love learning though play. Our days are full of messy adventures. Whether we are outside playing at the sand table, at the mud kitchen, riding scooters and bikes, preschool science Or making own edible finger paint and playdough. Our playroom has a play house, reading/quiet space, train/ block table, kitchen center, dress up and puzzles. We sing songs, story time, what the weather, days of the week. Our flannel board is a favorite during rug time and is requested often. During the school year we walk to and from school. This is a great time to learn about the world around us. Little Maple Montessori is a family owned business. As a Directress in the Montessori system for over 19 years and seeing my own two sons develop in this school system, the desire to inspire young minds to learn was still a great driving force in my life. The decision to open my own school in September 2010 was inevitable.
The journey continues..... Children are my inspiration. It never ceases to amaze me how special... beautiful, sweet, funny....smart, silly, but most of all how wonderful they are! My life’s goal has always been to help the child reach his or her full potential.
As an educator I am very organized, disciplined, industrious, creative and energetic. I am loving, kind and patient and aspire to bring out the best in each child. The parents and I have a great rapport and have mutual respect for each other. Our aim at Little Maple Montessori is to provide an environment surrounded by friendly, caring and nurturing adults - one that is intellectually stimulating.
Four children and myself are waiting for your child to join my daycare.
A warm, friendly and caring environment with CPR/First Aid certified home care provider with five years of experience working with children. As a member of the Halton Resource Centre with lending library access, the toys and activities are kept fresh and new during both circle time and free play periods.
